My review is posted with a bonus add on by my daughter Sarah who read the book too.

Good book, but I read it at a bad time. I am 34 and was about to go in for a second ultrasound with my pregnancy because the first ultrasound showed something that wasn't supposed to be there (and could be cancerous). Seeing as how the mother is 34 and dying of cancer this book hit a little too close to home. I bawled continuously. We have had the second ultrasound now, but don't know anything yet...
